Blood flows through my veins
A cut then two then three
Fall to the floor in crimson regret
Fire scorches around me
Shows me my destiny
As I fall into my shallow death
I live As who I want to be
One with no one and nothing
I can see my dream becoming reality
As blood surrounds my vision
And the flames come dangerously close
The last words ill ever say I repeat
As my last breathe closes in I say
I understand what living is for what it is
Its waiting for the blessing of death
I feel numb now so it must be time to go
I know ill never wake again but
That actually sounds comforting to me
I hope I can finally be happy
I never could when alive for some reason or other…

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
